Introduction
Airbnb is a popular online platform that connects travelers with
local hosts who rent out their homes or apartments for short-term
stays. In Seattle, Washington, Airbnb is a popular choice for
visitors seeking affordable and unique accommodations. With over
6,000 listings, Airbnb offers a variety of options ranging from
cozy apartments in downtown Seattle to scenic waterfront homes
with stunning views of Puget Sound.
Data
To analyze how Airbnb operates in Seattle, Washington, I have
gotten data from Kaggle. I will be discussing the prize by zip
code, average price per bedroom, etc.
The data consists of so many observations, over millions of rows
and tens of columns. The data was first imported to Microsoft
Excel to understand the data and perform some data cleaning and
data manipulation. After then, the data was saved with the columns
that I will be working with, in tableau.
Analysis and Visualization
The average prices that an apartment costs in each area by zip
code. 98134 area was found to be the highest and has an average
price of $206.6 and the lowest price in Seattle is found in the
98125 area with an average price of $64.7.

Next, I checked the revenue for the year using a line graph. It
was seen that the patronage of Airbnb apartments. Seattle
experienced growth from the month of January to March, did a
little drawdown, then went back up during the summer season and
comes back to the level it was in March and remain consistent
until the end of the year.

The last analysis I performed was to determine the total number of
listings for the year. A 1-bedroom apartment has the highest
listing with 1,811 and a 6-bedroom apartment has the least listing
with a value of 5.

To conclude the analysis visually, I built a dashboard showcasing
all the analyses performed.
