Fostering Global Prosperity

Unveiling the Impact of World Bank Credits & Grants on Economic Advancement

• SQL

Introduction

For this project, I pretend to have been hired as a data analyst to look over all our bank loans and give insight.

I will be using the data set from the World Bank. Note that this data is kept up to date quarterly by the World Bank.

Data

In the images below, I will be providing answers to the following:

  • Return all of the table

  • Return all rows of the table, but only the borrower & due to IDA column

  • Only show the first 5 rows of the previous query

  • Abbreviate one of the column names so it's easier to write

  • Show us all transactions from Nicaragua (the country).

  • How many total transactions?

  • How many total transactions per country?

  • What is the maximum owed to the IDA?

  • Which was the most recent to pay?

  • Who has the most loans?
